I can honestly say that inspite of obstacles and setbacks, we press on everyday. God has been gracious to us with his mercy and grace. As we approach the holiday season, I am sure that it is very different than many of us have ever experienced before. I wonder what Black Friday, Christmas programs and holiday events will look like this year or whether or not they will even take place. Only time will tell. Regardless of the outcome of 2020, let us not forget that God is in control and we celebrate His birth because He is the reason for the season! Covid or no Covid, masks and social distancing or not, we don’t need all the material things to celebrate Jesus and the true meaning of the season. So hold tight to your loved ones and thank God for your many blessings!
As I get up everyday since my brain surgery, I put one foot in front of the other and continue to work toward our Tommy Man goals. So far, we have finally gotten the attorney to file for the trademark and will begin the long process to obtain that. We have to actively be using the “mark” on products and such in order to show intent to use. This means more pressure to start making things happen. So, with that in mind, I am working on a few products which I should be able to add to our store by the end of October. So stay tuned for those announcements. We are starting with little things and working our way up. The one I am most excited about is a 2021 calendar that will be called “The Tommy Man” story. It will be the story about Tommy and his dreams in a calendar. So don’t buy your 2021 calendar just yet, it’s coming soon! Also, Tommy Man is preparing for his special “Holiday Sale” like the one he hosted last year with all his creations for any of our local fans. He hosted one last year and did his own presentation. I thought he did pretty good for his first time. He caught the retail bug and is looking forward to bigger and better things this year. Save the date for November 6, 2020. The time and place to be announced!!
